§ 10.04.020. Signs and signals—Obedience required.

  • It is unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to disobey the instructions of any traffic sign or signal placed in view by authority of the city council or in accordance with the laws of the state. The designation of all traffic control devices within the city limits, including but not limited to signs designating load limits, no truck traffic, no through traffic, stop signs and yield the right-of-way signs and the location thereof, and the streets and intersections applicable thereto, may be designated by a motion passed at any regular or special meeting of the council.
