§ 10.20.010. Right-of-way provision.

A.

It is unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to drive into any crosswalk without the exercise of due and proper care in view of the special use made thereof by pedestrians.

B.

It is unlawful to drive any vehicle into any crosswalk while there is in such crosswalk upon the half of the roadway upon which such vehicle is traveling any pedestrian engaged in crossing the roadway until such pedestrian has passed beyond the path of such vehicle, or when the pedestrian indicates his intention to cross.

C.

The driver of a vehicle shall stop before entering any crosswalk when any other vehicle proceeding in the same direction is stopped at such crosswalk for the purpose of permitting a pedestrian to cross.
