§ 15.24.040. Permit—Fees.

  • The fees for such permits shall be paid in advance as follows:

    A.

    Permits for all electrical work, except electric signs and fixtures, three dollars;

    B.

    Wiring for incandescent lighting, and motors of less than one-half horsepower, one dollar and fifty cents;

    C.

    Wiring for arc lighting, and stereoptician and motion picture machines, ten cents per outlet, including switches, and in addition, two dollars;

    D.

    Motors of one-half horsepower or over, or heating device of more than six hundred watts, one dollar and fifty cents; plus ten cents per horsepower (746) watts in excess of one-half horsepower;

    E.

    Fixture hanging, one dollar and fifty cents;

    F.

    Electric signs, two dollars;

    G.

    Each reinspection of any overhead, underground or interior wire, or equipment, shall be charged for at the rate of one dollar per hour;

    H.

    Whenever extra inspections are made necessary on account of inaccurate or incorrect information, failure to make required reports, or a similar reason, a charge of one dollar per hour.
