§ 2.10.020. Duties.
The duties of the budget officer shall be as prescribed and directed by the mayor, with the advice and consent of the city council, including, but not limited to, the following:
A.
Primary oversight, review, development and implementation of the city's annual budget.
B.
Monitor revenues and expenses of the city to assure compliance with the city's budget.
C.
Propose, with the assistance of the administrative committee of the city council and the city department heads, the annual appropriation and tax levy ordinances for timely consideration and approval by the corporate authorities.
