§ 2.16.010. Election—Term.

The city treasurer shall be elected and serve a four-year term and until his or her successor is elected and qualified, as is provided by statute, the treasurer's fiscal year salary shall be a maximum of three thousand three hundred dollars and shall be payable based on attendance at the regularly scheduled meetings of the council at a rate of two hundred seventy-five dollars per meeting (maximum of twelve meetings per year—treasurer shall be required to attend one meeting per month), payable in October and April of that fiscal year. The treasurer shall be permitted to miss one regular meeting per fiscal year without missing a payment.

Editor's note

Ord. No. 2011-09, § 3, provides that the method of payment of salary set forth in this section shall apply only to treasurers elected after April 5, 2011.
