§ 2.16.040. Deposit of funds into depository.

  • He/she shall deposit the city funds in such depositories as may be selected from time to time as is provided by law, and he/she shall keep the city money separate and distinct from his own, and shall not intermingle his own money with it or make private or personal use of the city funds. The treasurer shall not deposit funds in excess of one hundred thousand dollars in any single depository unless such funds exceeding one hundred thousand dollars are collateralized by a pledge of securities from the final institution at which they are deposited.
