§ 5.12.070. Table games.

    It is unlawful to maintain or expose for public use any table game or amusement device operated with a slug or coin or for the use of which a fee is charged, without first obtaining a license therefor. The annual fees for any such license shall be thirty dollars for the first table or game or device, and fifteen dollars for each additional table or game or device.

    B.

    As used in this section, "table game" means and includes, but shall not be limited to, any device, whether controlled by skill or chance, for the operation of a game, pastime or contest the manipulation of a marble, sphere or of objects or figures, or by controlling the movement of the same or setting them in motion by mechanical means, or any other mechanical machine or device for the purpose of amusement operated with a slug or coin or for the use of which a fee is charged. No place in which more than a total of five table games or amusement devices and pool or billiard tables is located shall be open for business or use between the hours of eleven p.m. on Sunday to Thursday, inclusive, and six a.m. on the following days: between twelve midnight and six a.m. on Saturday; and between twelve midnight and one p.m. on Sunday.

    C.

    No place in which a total of five or less table games or amusement devices and pool or billiard tables is located shall be open for business or use between the hours of twelve midnight and six a.m., except on Saturday and Sunday mornings and shall be lawful to operate a table game or amusement device until the hour of one a.m. Saturday morning and one a.m. Sunday morning.
