§ 5.40.020. Permit—Required.

It is unlawful for any person to engage in commercial home merchandising or solicitation as defined herein, either in person or by agent, in the city without having first obtained a permit therefor. The permit shall be displayed at all times and shall be worn or carried in plain sight using a badge or other holder issued by the city and shall be shown upon request by any resident or occupant of the house or residential dwelling being solicited. The permit shall be valid only on the date(s) reflected on the permit.
