  • When a development is proposed that would not require the approval of a final plat of subdivision, zoning certificate, or special flood hazard areas development permit, the applicant shall submit one application for a drainage permit each to both the city engineer and the building and zoning administrator. When a development is proposed that would require:

    A.

    The Approval of a Final Plat of Subdivision. The applicant shall submit an application for a drainage permit, in duplicate, along with the submission of a tentative plat of subdivision.

    B.

    The Issuance of a Zoning Certificate. The applicant shall submit an application for a drainage permit, in duplicate, along with the submission of an application for a zoning certificate.

    C.

    The Issuance of a Special Flood Hazard Areas Development Permit. The applicant shall submit an application for a drainage permit, in duplicate, along with the submission of an application for a special flood hazard areas development permit.

    Upon receipt of an application for a drainage permit, the building and zoning administrator shall immediately forward one set of the drainage permit application to the city engineer.
