§ 5.24.010. Distribution—License required.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to distribute to the public any cards, circulars, handbills, samples of merchandise, or any advertising material whatsoever on any public street or highway or other public place in the city or to exhibit or carry handbills in public places without obtaining a license from the city clerk as provided in Section 5.24.030. This section applies to only commercial matters being distributed or exhibited or carried. (Amended during 1976 codification: prior code § 12-5A).
