§ 5.24.020. Distribution—Permit required.

It is unlawful to distribute to the public or by leaving at stores, offices, houses or residences in the city, any cards, circulars, samples of merchandise, handbills, or any advertising materials whatsoever for commercial purposes without having first obtained a permit therefor; provided, that this section shall not be construed to apply to the sale of articles by licensed peddlers.
