§ 5.36.020. License—Required.

It is unlawful for any person to engage in the business of hawker or peddler of any merchandise, food or article for sale without having first obtained a license therefore. This provision shall not apply to the distribution of materials for religious, political, charitable or social causes or concern, where there is no solicitation of funds and no goods or services offered for sale.
