§ 16.20.060. Acceptance of improvements.

    Acceptance. The approval by the planning and development committee of a development final plat shall not be deemed to constitute or imply the acceptance by the city of any required improvements on said final plat. Acceptance of an improvement for the city for any part of a development located within the corporate limits of Byron, or for the county for any part of a development located beyond the corporate limits of Byron, shall be by resolution of the city council. Acceptance shall be contingent upon:

    1.

    Fulfillment of the requirements of this title regarding such improvements.

    2.

    Improvement(s) being complete and in good repair in accordance with city standards and requirements.

    3.

    Inspection reports indicating compliance with working drawings and specifications.

    4.

    Three copies as built construction plans based on field information completed by the contractor and prepared by the engineer for the developer.

    5.

    All signage having been installed throughout the development at the developer's cost.

    B.

    Improvements to be Completed. Improvements shall not be accepted in part; prior to acceptance, they shall be complete throughout the development as indicated in the plat of a development for which final approval has been given.
